Year 25-26 - Food, Cities and Our Future
Here we show you our projects, done in every unit.
Project 1. Meet the Global Scholars
Find here our first project, a video where we shared with our international peers information about our school and our village. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did doing it! :-)
Project 2. My Meal Matters
In Unit 2 we created a Cookbook with nutritious and traditional recipes from our country. We included 'panellets', 'sopa de galets' or 'paella', among others. We worked in small groups and then we put all our recipes together. We hope you like it!
Project 3. City Food Environments
We have finished unit 3, where we designed a presentation about our city food environment, that is, the grocery shops, supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants we can get food from in our village, among other places.
We talked about accessibility, cost and food security and made a research at the local market.
Project 4. Our Global Food System
In this unit students worked in small groups to find out what are the food issues that most worry our community. In order to do that, they surveyed people in our school and families and they asked them about the most worrying issues related to food and what actions would they be willing to take in order to address those issues.
Finally, in their groups, students created an infographic where they shared the results of the surveys by means of graphic bars and diagrams. You can see them by clicking on the picture on the left.
