Our Projects
Here we show you our projects, done in every unit.
Project 1. Meet the Global Scholars
Our first project is called 'Meet the Global Scholars' and it is a video where we introduced our town and our school in the form of a story about the robbery of the rose of Saint Jordi! Click on the image to watch the video :-)
Project 2. Everyday Consumption.
During the second unit we were asked to create a photojournal, in which we chose a product and we reflected on how to make the use of this product more sustainable, by applying the 5 Rs: reduce, reuse, refuse, recycle and repair. We used the app 'bookcreator' to make them. On the image link on the left you'll be able to read our photojournals :-)
Project 3. Cities and systems.
In Unit 3, we have created guides related to the systems we had previously studied. There, we explain how this system in the city works, the people that work in this system and some elements of it. Have a look at the guides, by clicking on the image.
Project 4. Sustainable World.
During unit 4 we learned about the parts and people involved in global trade. We identified global challenges and surveyed our community to find local solutions. Here we share the infographics that show the result of this survey, in which there are the most important issues in our community and the actions people are willing to take, regarding consumption. We hope you like them :-)
Project 5. Community Action Project.
In this final project, the action we are taking to achieve this goal is creating recycling paper bins because in our high school we only have them in the corridors and the students have to leave the class to throw things. Another action we’re going to do is visiting a local company to know how do they recycle paper and the third is to do a clothes market. All the students should bring clothes that they don’t wear or don’t like and can exchange it to other clothes from other students.
